• 1. Cleanse the wound: Clean the wound and surrounding skin with a wound cleanser.
     
  2. Remove the backing: Peel off the film backing of the hydrofiber dressing.
     
  3. Warm the dressing: Hold the dressing between your hands to improve adhesion.
     
  4. Apply dressing: Place the dressing over the wound, ensuring it extends at least 1 inch onto healthy skin.
     
  5. Change as needed: Replace the dressing every 3 to 7 days or when the edges start to roll or if the drainage amount changes.
