• Tailoring is available from sizes 2 US to 16 US. Please strictly follow our size chart to choose the appropriate size. Do not select directly according to your habits. Please note that we only use basic sizes. If your size is above 14, please contact me and I will calculate the cost of the dress for you as making a plus size product costs more since it requires more time and materials.
• We will do our best to tailor the perfect dress for you, but due to the nature of online ordering, please be prepared for some local adjustments when you receive your dress. You can always adjust your ordered online dress with a local wedding tailor, which is a standard practice in the online wedding industry to ensure a perfect fit.
• If you are between sizes, please choose the larger size to allow for adjustments by a local tailor.
• Our skirts' front has a standard length depending on a model.

• The current processing time is 8-10 weeks (depending on quantity and difficulty of particular items, the processing time can be enlarged). We are open to all your ideas to find the best solution!

• The regular shipping time frame is 2-14 days, depending on the shipping location.
• The wedding dress will be ironed and placed in a special clothes bag and packed in a cardboard box.

Instead, they take up arms to protect themselves and their children from the present predations of racist, sadistic creeps. Very inspiring. An Obscure Facet of the Civil Rights Movement
Format: Paperback
The Deacons for Defense story has been buried since the mid sixties. The reasons for this loss are many. The Deacons don't fit the stereotype promulgated by the orthodox civil rights leaders and historians, nor does it particularly fit with the "conservative" historian view that anti-black violence largely was confined to a few terrible but soon overcome incidents [overcome with support of the Feds and the Press]. This book shows how pervasive the violence was and how the African-American Community especially the men, were scarred by the violence, and reluctant to join with the non-violent philosophy of the orthodox movement , as it destroyed their sense of manhood. The author does stretch at times to support his themes, especially the class differences between the Deacons and the mainstreamers, but this story is strong and should be better known. One amazing thing, with all of the hoopla about gun control, I'm surprised the NRA doesn't push the Deacon's story, as it does support the notion of an armed citizen being effective in countering an oppressive government. One can only surmise that the NRA supporters are also supporters of the repression in these instances. Ironic [but I digress].

The movie about the same topic gives you only a taste. Enlarge your mind.

We represented Deacons in various instances. This history filled in innumerable gaps in my knowledge of the Deacons. To the extent of my recollection the facts and analysis seemed accurate to me. This book is recommended for anyone with an interest in acquiring a full understanding of important civil rights organizations which contributed to the Movement in the '60's'
