I recently picked up the HHSOET Rotating Mountable Power Strip to tame the chaos of cords in my home office, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a fantastic addition. With 12 outlets, a sleek black metal design, and a clever rotating feature, this thing delivers both function and style in spades.
Right out of the box, the build quality impressed me. The all-metal construction feels rugged and durable—definitely a step above those flimsy plastic power strips I’ve used in the past. It’s got a solid heft to it, which gives me confidence it’ll hold up under daily use, whether I’m plugging in my laptop, monitors, or a slew of chargers. The black finish adds a stylish touch, blending seamlessly with my setup instead of sticking out like an eyesore.
The standout feature for me is the 360-degree rotating design. I mounted it under my desk using the included screws (super easy install, by the way), and being able to swivel the outlets to the perfect angle made cable management a breeze. Whether I needed the plugs facing forward for easy access or tucked back to keep things tidy, this power strip adapted effortlessly. It’s such a smart touch for a versatile setup—great for everything from a gaming rig to a workshop bench.
With 12 outlets, I’ve got more than enough space for all my gear. The spacing isn’t super wide, so bulky adapters might block neighboring slots, but I managed to fit my essentials without too much hassle. The 6-foot power cord is a nice length—long enough to reach my wall outlet without needing an extension, but not so long that it’s a tangled mess. Plus, the built-in 1200-joule surge protector gives me peace of mind, knowing my pricey electronics are safe from power spikes.
The on/off switch is another handy perk. It’s got a satisfying click and a light to show when it’s powered, making it easy to cut power to everything at once without unplugging a single cord. I’ve found it especially useful for saving energy when I’m done for the day.
There are a couple of small quirks. The outlets are a bit close together, so if you’ve got a lot of oversized plugs, you might not use all 12 spots. Also, while the metal body looks great, it’s a fingerprint magnet—nothing a quick wipe won’t fix, though. Mounting was straightforward, but I’d recommend double-checking your surface; the included screws worked fine on wood, but drywall might need anchors.
All in all, the HHSOET Rotating Mountable Power Strip is a sturdy, stylish, and versatile solution for anyone juggling multiple devices. It’s transformed my cluttered desk into a clean, organized workspace. If you’re looking for a heavy-duty power strip that doesn’t compromise on looks or utility, this one’s a winner.

Good power strip for under-desk mount.

Affordable power strip. 12 plugs. Good build quality.
It says "Surge Protector" in the product description, but without actually taking it apart, I don't actually think there's a surge protector or anything built in - there's no breaker/reset button, which is usually the giveaway for that. Also, no USB charge ports or any extras like that.
The plugs aren't only spaced the normal width apart - you won't get many wall-wart style power supplies connected with this. That should be obvious from the product images but I figured I'd mention it. You can get little 8-12" pigtail M/F power cables for cheap that address that problem, though.
Easy to attach to underside of desk with included brackets. They're through-hole, not that weird slot/key thing, which is a plus, IMHO. (The last power strip had used those, and after it fell off a few times, I jut gave up and it lived on the floor. This won't do that.)
The brackets are visible in the produce images, but come screwed on in reverse - you have to unscrew and flip them before you have the tabs to attach things. I assume that's what "rotating" means in the product description. It makes sense - the product package can be a couple inches shorter and most people presumably don't use the clips anyway. I just think it's great they're there if you need them.
Getting all the cords up off the floor makes it a lot easier to sweep or vacuum under the desk, and a lot hard for cats to disturb things. Satisfied customer here!

Solid, well-made product. I like that you can rotate-to-mount for different situations.

Heavy-duty chord, heavy-duty sockets, heavy-duty metal frame. Works well, and I like the lighted on/off switch. Being able to rotate and mount however needed makes it versatile. As clearly illustrated in the product description, the sockets are *really* close to each other, but that perfectly met my needs - but look for alternatives if you plan to plug in wall-warts and other space-consuming devices.

Before Mounting, Re-look at the photos for bracket position to save frustration!
Size: 3FT, Style: 1 Pack
Good, solid quality feel, fit and finish... BUT, as other comments indicate, the brackets can be confusing. They come positioned inward for compact fit in the box. Remove the mounting screw from the end, then SLIDE the bracket off, position the L-shape away from the strip for mounting and re-insert the power strip. Others mentioned lack of a tool for bracket removal but none is needed, they simply slide off (they don't rotate while seated). I (and others, per the comments) envisioned it mounted with brackets turned inward (as they came in the box) but doing that puts a screw head in the way of fully seating the unit into the bracket with misaligned mounting screw holes. Came back to this ad to look at the pictures and VIOLA -- set the brackets outward and screw holes align for perfect fit! Quite honestly, made me feel like a chimpanzee given a simple puzzle to solve, and I FAILED the test until looking at the pictures! Reading the reviews made me feel a little better, seeing I'm not the only one!! All that said, this power strip provides great bang for the buck. I'm using it to power my desktop computer with a three-monitor display and external storage drives.

Extraordinarily Useful

We use this to plug in all of our chargers (an off brand mini chain saw, off brand mini blower, and way to many (but we love and use them) Ryobi products). The are on a shelf, easy to get to, no cords tangled, no plugging and unplugging. Great decision because this is a great product.
