Overview

PVS31 is a high performance binocular night vision device. It is featured by high resolution optics, compact housing and ultra light weight. It can be installed with Gen2+ multi-alkali cathode or Gen3 gallium arsenide cathode intensifier tubes. The system image resolution can be as high as 72 lp/mm, and FOM as high as 3000, depending on tubes installed. Unlike similar legacy systems, the PVS31 lenses are designed with quick disassembly features. This innovation allows users to field-stripe the lenses and tubes for maintenance and trouble shooting. With optimized structure and patented material, the system weight is below 450g (w/ tubes and w/o battery). With the high image quality, ultra low weight and robust structure, the PVS31 allow its users to train and operate under complex scenarios and harsh conditions. It is especially helpful in improving situation awareness and combat effectiveness of special force units.

How to Operate

1)Flip Up Power Off When the device is installed on a helmet or head mount, it will automatically turn off after it is completely flipped up over head. When the device is flipped down, it will automatically turn on. It will only turn off when it the flipping angle is greater than the predefined threshold, therefore, raising head will not turn off the device.

2)Dormancy The gravity sensor checks its posture all the time. If the device stay still for more than 100 seconds , it will automatically go dormant to save power and protect the tube from long-time burning damage until the device is waken up by new movements.

3)Manual Gain Control After correctly installing different 37mm manual gain tubes (i.e. Photonis and NNVT three-pin tubes, US MX-11769 tubes and tubes with flying wires) according to our tube installation manual, the user can rotate the power switch clockwise and anti-clockwise to manually control the intensifier’s gain features.

Great WFH screen for video calls

I share a workspace with my hubs since we both work from home. I have the attention span of a 🐿️ and need this so I can focus on my work and not get distracted by him, since he is very amusing to watch. This screen is very lightweight and the panels can move and create a little cubicle around your workspace. I personally loved cubicles & despise open space seating, even at home. The ADHDer in my loves being able to block things away from my field of vision. These panels also hide any mess behind you, especially if you forget to blur the background on Teams or Zoom calls or if you don’t have the option to change your backgrounds. This was fairly easy to put together and very easy to move and adjust. The screen is a much better option than a sheet as I’ve seen others use on calls.🤦🏻‍♀️😂 I’m not sure how it will stand up around rambunctious pets or kids, but fairly certain it takes quite a push to knock it over. We have four cats & I’m pretty sure someone would try to climb this, which is why they’re not allowed in our workspace.

Difficult to assemble, but a good basic divider

I bought this to use as a background for when I have video calls. I wish I'd ordered the 6- or even 8-panel to block a little more, but that's my own error. It still covers a good portion of the room, so I'll make do, or maybe buy another at a later date to expand it. It looks ok, if a little plain. The fabric panels have creases in them from being folded and will need to be steamed or ironed out for a nicer look. It would be easy to make your own panels as well, if you're so inclined. The construction is decent. The frame is lightweight and if you don't angle the base supports the right way it may tip over if you extend it too far. The fabric panels aren't the highest quality, but are sturdy enough. They seem like they would handle being thrown in the wash well. The only issue I have with it is that it was so difficult to put together. The push latches that connect the poles don't push it well and hurt my hands. The fabric panels are sized to be extremely taut, which makes it very difficult to get them on the bars without forcing the bar to bend slightly. Overall, this is a good divider if you're looking for something simple and functional without being too worried about aesthetic. It's also a good, inexpensive base if you want to make your own custom panels.

Packaging contents

Item is as described however this one appeared to be open and some parts possibly used. Example pole packaging mislabeled one had the letter K as a part there is no letter K item in the instructions. Another pole part had a taped on letter A which is completely different from the others thus indicating that it was opened or substituted. Finally after the partition was completely put together one of the bottom screw connection anchors came out making the partition unable to stand. I'm going to have to rig something up in order to get the anchor connected to the bottom panel. In closure the partion could be very acceptable and do the job if it was new and parts labeled correctly. I have pictures of all parts and packaging errors. Would buy again if new. I'm going to pursue some kind of compensation.
