The Rocky Road features a 100% hand welded all-aluminum frame which is lightweight and rustproof. It is also outfitted with many premium components usually found on much more expensive e-MTBs.
BEASTLY 48V 500-WATT MOTOR
Get ready to experience the Shimano Tourney 9-Speed Gears & Shifting System, MOZO front hydraulic suspension and KS rear shock suspension. The Rocky Road’s 48V/10.4Ah lithium battery is tightly integrated into the down tube frame, providing excellent balance while powering the 500W Bafang high torque zero resistance clutch rear hub motor .
THROTTLE AND PEDAL ASSIST
The Rocky Road comes equipped with a King Meter LCD smart power assist system (SPAS) and a USB phone charging port for added convenience. The electronics of the X-Treme electric bike are controlled via rider input on the LCD monitor attached to the handlebars. The LCD indicates speed, distance and battery life.
ENJOY ITS MIND-BOGGLING RANGE
The Smart PAS with 5 speeds enables the Rocky Road to operate nearly twice as efficient as a non-smart assist e-bike. The rider selects the power consumption (speed controls 1-5 setting) on the LCD while riding. This feature allows the Rocky Road 48 Volt to possibly reach or exceed 70+ miles per charge. This is achieved when using low SPAS while always pedal assisting on flat ground under perfect conditions with a light weight rider.
GET LOTS OF GRIP WITH THE TIRES
The Rocky Road wheel specs are standouts. With aluminum rims with quick release axle on the front and rear with oversized Kenda 26 x 4.0 fat tires you can easily ride on steep mountain trails.
COMFORTABLE AND RELIABLE RIDE
Although this bike is made for the harshest terrain, it is surprisingly comfortable to ride due to its oversized shocks, the fat tires, and its mountain bike saddle. It has plenty of rust-proof aluminum components to cope with its rugged purpose, so it will be a reliable ride for many years. VELO hand grips and a comfortable mountain bike seat are standard.
