The Cowboy Tipi is our Western classic — a 9×9 canvas tent that has been a staple of ranch life, hunting camps, and backcountry adventures for generations. It sets up with a natural timber frame you source yourself, connecting tradition to the landscape in a way no factory-built frame ever could. Choose your material: our traditional 10.10 oz Sunforger® cotton duck canvas, or WeatherMax® 80 for a lighter, stronger build.

At 9×9, the Cowboy Tipi is the right size for 1–2 people with gear, or as a dedicated cook tent or gear shelter alongside larger wall tents in a full camp setup. The canvas version develops a beautiful patina over years of use. The WeatherMax version packs lighter for remote access. Both are made by hand in our Denver, Colorado workshop.
