Mighty Red Distortion
A high-gain distortion pedal, which was modeled after the 80's style compressed gain sounds.
MRD is a high-gain distortion pedal, which was modeled after the 80's style compressed gain sounds. It is extremely easy (and a lot of fun) to play because its texture is adjusted to give clarity and definition also at heavy distortion. The gain range allows also low distortion sounds as well as stacking with other pedals, where an overdrive (preferably MP LGW) can pre-drive MRD for extreme and highly focused sounds. To get these gain levels with their impressive signal to noise ratio, we didn’t use any noise gate or expander. Instead, we used special amplifier techniques and extremely low noise amplifier stages, which result in a natural decay and a rather high current consumption for a distortion pedal in view of battery operation.
MRD has that 80's sound many have longed for but never got before at such low noise levels and versatility. The Presence control was designed to control the upper treble, but not to affect the upper midrange, so that you can get the exact treble you desire. You can master anything from fat warm singing distortion to screaming cutting leads with the MRD’s Presence control.

Great for night time play!

This ball is great! It is a 2-for-one light up feature so we love the flashing lights and if she drops it in the snow after those lights stop, we can still find it because of the strong glow that gets its charge from the flashing LED lights. Our first one lasted a few years, we lost it on a trip so now back for our second one so we can keep the night time fetch going! She is a golden retriever for size reference. Any bigger of a breed and I would worry it might be too small for her mouth. It’s a bit smaller than a tennis ball. Just don’t make the same mistake I did and let them have it in the house at night, she walked up to my bedside while I was asleep one night and squeezed it to activate it. Those lights are so bright it was a rude awakening!

Good option for playing at night

This ball is a good option if your dog likes to fetch at night. It stays lit for about 20 minutes or so, but that is me only leaving it out of the counter, being "charged" by whatever house lights are on. My dog isn't a big chewer, but it seems as though it would hold up well. I like that it is easy to rinse and clean. It seems to be a good value.

Night play

It stopped working after three play sessions

I thought this ball was great until a week later it stopped blinking and got lost in the snow. We only played with it for three days for 20 minutes at a time. It should’ve lasted a lot longer.

It’s absolutely perfect for fetch in the dark!

We needed to find a glow in the dark ball to run our over active dog after dark ( gets dark now about 5 pm ish) I was hesitant to buy this ball at first. We went to try it out and it totally blew my expectations! The ball really glows, it’s a durable rubber and when it hits the ground it lights up blue and red. Incredibly satisfied and just ordered 2 more. If you need to run your dog in the dark, this is absolutely for you. Highly recommend it
